This is a Shaman player character class that can make potions and adventure. The books for first edition AD&D have a shaman class that is a low level, tribal, spell caster for groups like orcs and goblins. This is not that monster class.

Character races: human, half-elf, high elf, wild elves, surface gnomes. Might add more later on.

Armor: leather or studded leather, chain hauberk, wood shield, wood shield with metal reinforcements, Bartan helm

Weapons same as a druid and thief: aklys, caltrop, club, dagger, dart, falchion sword, hammer, hand crossbow, knife, sap, scimitar, sling, 5’ or 6’ spear, short bow, short sword, long sword, staff, staff sling, whip

30 percent chance to learn how to use a harpoon as a weapon. Can roll at 1st, 5th, and 9th level.

The character class uses 1d8 + 2 hp at first level, and 1d8 there after, going all the way to 23rd level.

Primary stat is Wisdom. +10% experience if 16 or higher.

Character class level: 65% success at fifth level; 90% success at sixth level; 98% success at seventh level; 99% success at eighth level; 100% success at nineth level.

Failure means 10% chance of intestinal distress, 15% chance headache, and 75% potion of delusion. Or just roll 1d3; 1) intestinal distress 2) headache 3) delusion
