Hi and welcome to my Crest of a Star site ! This site is my first edition AD&D materials.
I have added to the maps, people, etc. since I bought Campaign Cartographer 2 around 23 or so years ago. I now have CC3+ and all of its add-ons.
Link in the Home text at the top of this drop down will bring you back to the front page of this site.

I am no longer using this method of making surface maps, but you might find it useful for your surface maps.
Mostly added more text to the file.
Just use the below template. having a color chart template as well is rather redundant.
Campaign Cartographer 3 Pro template with sheets layers for this color chart, 25 kilobyte zip file. Template updated to CC3. Template is for maps 185 × 234 miles.
Some of the texture files I was sent in email are here:
texture files on this page link fixed Aug 2016
color chart zip file 25 Kb.

This is the map of Ruins of Scorn, a henge and nearby temple. I placed the map into Epic-Table 1.3.7 to help me learn more about using it.
The characters Joe the human fighter and Sam the dwarf are at the middle of the map.
Rats on the gold-looking floor tiles and 3 goblins coming in from the Northwest. And skeletons to the southeast. The skeletons are currently off-screen. Joe and Sam should have brought more adventurers !
